Tretinoin

Tretinoin (all-trans retinoic acid) is the reference topical retinoid in dermatology. It is used for acne and the signs of photoageing: it speeds up cell renewal, refines skin texture and helps even out skin tone.
We offer it as a cream, in a 20 g tube, in three concentrations: 0.025% to start, 0.05% as the intermediate step and 0.1% for skin already accustomed. The rule is the same at every strength: start low, two to three evenings a week, then increase slowly as tolerated.
Tretinoin makes the skin more sensitive to the sun and is contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding. In many countries it is a prescription medicine: the advice of a healthcare professional is recommended before starting.
